Power feed terminals for the DIN rail are suitable for feeding large wire cross-sections of up to 300 mm². The special design improves heat dissipation from the connection area. This is also supported by integrated ribs both on the aluminum core as well as on the housing of the terminal block. Thanks to the low contact resistance and improved heat dissipation, high currents can be achieved with small designs using the WPD feeder terminals.
Thanks to the special coating on the aluminum body, copper wires and aluminum wires can be connected in the power feed-in terminal block. Approvals according to VDE, CCC, cURus, Ex, UL and IEC enable use in other industrial sectors and international markets.
The power feed terminals are suitable for mounting on standard DIN 35 mounting rails according to EN 60715 and EN 50022.
Thanks to the special mounting foot, they can be installed directly on the main line terminals or directly screwed into the mounting plate. With this design, any forces that occur during wire connection can be transferred evenly to the mounting plate.
Power terminals with a wire cross-section greater than 95 mm² have an optional connection point with a rated cross-section of 10 mm². This can be used for emergency power supply upstream of the main switch or as a monitoring connection. They can also be connected without first disconnecting previously connected feed lines.
The compact aluminum core of the main terminal block with its special coating enables the connection of round and sector-shaped copper and aluminum conductors. The screw drive with fine thread facilitates the transmission of high torques and the turned screw head gently ensures evenly distributed connection forces on the wire.
The power terminals have international approvals for use in explosive hazardous atmospheres. The main terminals comply with ATEX, IECEx, UKCA EX and CCC Ex directives. The respective certificates and declarations of conformity are available in the download area of the online catalog.
