Notice: Please also check for version changes of Node-RED in the release notes and the details in the Node-RED forum .
When downgrading to a previous firmware version:
If you downgrade the device to a previous firmware version your project might become incompatible or lost.
Notice: It is always advisable to save project data before upgrading to a newer firmware version.
Simply perform the “Firmware update” operation and select the next available firmware version. The latest firmware is available in the download area.
Note: For dedicated firmware versions (e.g. 1.9.X and 1.12.X) there are additional update steps required. Please always read the “Release Notes” document and execute the upgrade instructions which are applied for the target firmware version.
Please always execute the downgrade instructions described in the “Release Notes” document. The release notes and downgrade support images are available in the Archived firmware section of the product download area.
Note: After executing the downgrade procedure, all project data are lost and configuration data are set to factory default values. That includes also IP addresses and means that the device can be accessed via default IP address after downgrade operation.
