Weidmuller has a portfolio of combiner boxes that are specially designed for connection to the Fronius Tauro Eco range of string inverters with 1 MPPT. These products are developed, tested and produced in accordance with IEC 61439-2 and therefore meet all the requirements for installation in a PV system. With up to 10 inputs, these products enable bundling and protecting against overcurrent and overvoltage (type I+II) before they are connected to the inverter.
The combination of Weidmuller combiner boxes and Fronius Taurus Eco inverters is particularly advantageous when covering long cable distances. By bundling the strings in the GAK and using a sufficiently large cross-section up to the inverter, line losses can be minimized.

The inverter manufacturer Fronius offers the option of supplying consumers in the event of a power cut in its Primo GEN24 Plus product range. Weidmuller has developed the appropriate emergency power box to connect the necessary loads quickly and safely if required. The Fronius Primo GEN24 Plus is connected to the emergency power box from Weidmuller. If there is a failure in the grid, this hybrid inverter recognizes this and activates the connection to the emergency power box.
